aexjet acquires Aspen Aviation
Aspen Executive Air d/b/a aexjet, an Aspen based Jet Card Membership program jet operator has acquired Aspen Aviation, a 22 year old aircraft management and business jet operator in Aspen, Colorado.
According to Vice President Hana Pevny, aexjet has acquired the operating agreements including the client base of Aspen Aviation. The move makes aexjet the sole Aspen based jet operator provider delivering price advantages and exercising majority of hangar facilities. The acquisition makes aexjet the primary presence in the Aspen business jet market.
In addition to the acquisition of the business, aexjet also acquired a long term agreement at Aspen Sardy Field airport. “This is a huge strategic move for aexjet paving the way for our long strategic development in the jet card segment of the business jet industry” according to Ron Stone, President and CEO of aexjet.
Former Aspen Aviation charter customers will now have the option to choose from a larger fleet of jets or participate in aexjet's Passport, a jet card membership program and turnkey aircraft management services.
Currently, the aexjet fleet is comprised of state of the art, late model light, mid-size, super-mid and heavy jets, providing more options to meet client’s aviation needs. Additionally, aexjet is training all of its flight crews in special Aspen Procedures, offering safer and more consistent service than other fractional and membership program operators. Mountain terrain trained flight crews have given aexjet an added advantage as a primary operator in mountain resorts.
To date, aexjet has a 100% renewal rate of its membership program evidencing the company’s focus on enhanced safety, dependability and precision delivery of a highly personalized service.
