aexjet Appoints New President
John Gallaher Appointed President and COO of aexjet
May 3, 2006, Aspen, Colorado – Aspen Executive Air d/b/a aexjet is proud to announce today the appointment of John Gallaher as President and Chief Operating Officer. Gallaher will have overall operating responsible the company.
Gallaher most recently served as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Sunset Aviation in Novato, California where he had responsibility for all of the companies operations that included over 30 managed airplanes with 26 of them on the FAA Part 135 certificate. Coming from a family of pilots, he started his aviation career in 1982 flying fighting forest fires. A four year enlistment in the US Marine Corps followed. He has also flown as a charter pilot in Seattle, Washington. Gallaher holds a Masters of Professional Accounting degree from the University of Washington where he also received his BA in Business Administration. Gallaher, his wife Amy and their two children, will be relocating to the Aspen area from the San Francisco Bay area.
