aexjet provides the highest level of safety and best class of service in the private jet travel industry. Founded in 2000, aexjet offers a variety of unique membership and travel options that are more flexible and cost effective than those offered by other private aviation companies. Backed by a major investment corporation, aexjet is headquartered in Aspen, Colorado and serves major markets throughout the U.S., including New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, South Florida, Dallas, Houston, and Atlanta. We fly at the pleasure of our members and our operations are not limited to the areas listed above.
A Changing Industry
The airline industry has undergone dramatic changes in recent years. As commercial airlines have cut back in service and been beset by security requirements, corporations and affluent individuals have flocked to private jet services to satisfy their needs for convenient, secure and enjoyable jet travel. But private jet operators have had their own set of challenges which have led to an increasingly dissatisfied client base. Traditional charter operators have struggled with high operating costs, causing them to skimp on expenditures for critical activities such as maintenance and pilot training. Fractional ownership companies and card programs have sprung up to assure passengers of safety, but their terms have been so onerous that many members are frustrated and seeking more attractive options. We have built AEXJet from the ground up to meet the needs of the demanding and experienced private jet customer who expects a consistent, affordable, safe and personalized travel experience from their aviation partner.

From our Aspen base, AEXJet serves nine major metropolitan regions throughout the U.S., including New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, South Florida, Dallas, Houston, Austin and Atlanta. We have determined that these are the most frequent destinations of our clientele. We fly at the pleasure of our members and our operations are not limited to the areas listed above. This regional focus model enables AEXJet to minimize repositioning and other operating costs, which we then pass along to members. It also enables us to create jet sharing opportunities and provide the personalized service of an exclusive membership club.

AEXJet Knows Private Air Travel
Formerly known as Aspen Executive Air, AEXJet was founded and is led by aviation industry veterans with unparalleled experience in providing safe, high quality service to challenging locations. The Company’s executives, flight crews and staff have been flying into mountain locales for decades and understand the nuances of mountain airports like no other aviation company. Specifically in our corporate headquarters community, each of our flight crew members are trained specifically in Aspen operations, in both the Flight Safety simulator and aircraft, and are experienced in mountain flying conditions, ensuring safe and consistent access to Aspen and other mountain airports.
AEXJet senior management formerly operated a regional airline with up to 17 flights per day into Aspen as an American Airlines code share partner, providing the knowledge and experience required to serve the unique Aspen locale in an extremely safe and reliable manner. With its headquarters in Aspen, the AEXJet team knows the region intimately, and provides concierge services such as ground transportation, hotel reservations and access to restaurants and clubs consistent with the needs of Aspen frequent visitors and homeowners.
